| Cornerstone Church believes that spiritual growth flows out of three basic commitments: |
Watch "Created for Care" Video |
| - A commitment to study God’s Word | |
| - A commitment to spend time in God’s presence, in a personal relationship with Him | |
| - A commitment to develop significant relationships with other Christians |
It is our goal that every member or attendee of Cornerstone Church be involved in a Community Group experience that consistently pursues these three commitments. While some community Groups are sermon-based, many are special interest groups focusing on topics such as parenting, Christian Stewardship, Fire-Proofing your Marriage, Truth Project, Books of the Bible, etc.
Most Community Groups are composed of 15-20 people and meet on a weekly basis, but as you will see in our Community Group Directory, there are many types of small groups that fall under the umbrella of Cornerstone Community Groups because they are committed to the following four building blocks as their foundation:
Cornerstone Community Groups Building Blocks:
| - Meet as small groups (recommended 15-20 member maximum) | |
| - Meet regularly with a consistent core group | |
| - Consistently pursue a form of Bible or Christian living study, combined with fellowship, prayer and relationship building |
The vision for Community Groups is “CREATED FOR CARE.” A Community Group is committed to demonstrate an attitude of Christian love and caring for the spiritual, emotional and physical needs of the group. “Created to Care” extends out into the community itself. The more we help each other find our identity and purpose in Christ, the more we overflow into the lives of those God puts in our path, both as individuals and as a small group.
We encourage you to make a commitment to your spiritual growth and the growth of others by signing up for a Community Group that fits you and your season of life. Without a doubt, you will be blessed and you will be a blessing!
