This journey of discovering who we are and why we were placed on this earth begins with a decision to follow Jesus Christ, God’s Son. Cornerstone Church is more about dynamic relationship than cold religion. We care more about the direction you are going than all the detours you 
may have taken. Within a community of supportive and encouraging people you can enter in with confidence that you are accepted.

No one is a finished project… everyone is under construction at Cornerstone. We aim to help people from a diversity of backgrounds know God personally and fulfill His highest purpose for their lives. We do this through life-connected Bible preaching and 
teaching, creative-inclusive worship, in-depth studies at Cornerstone U and a host of opportunities for significant and supportive relationships for all ages. We believe spiritual growth flows out of two basic commitments: A commitment to personally know Jesus Christ who is revealed in the Bible and a commitment to develop significant relationships. It is our goal to develop enthusiastic followers of Jesus Christ
who live out their faith in honest relationships rooted in the truth of the Bible.

Cornerstone places high value on personal involvement in local and world-wide projects such as: Neighborhood schools in Long Beach; urban youth workers in America’s cities; local college campuses; orphans of AIDS in Africa; church planting in Mexico, Honduras, Asia and the Middle East; Bible translation and distribution; relief to the hungry and to oppressed of the world.
