WELCOME TO CORNERSTONE MEN'S MINISTRY
“Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another.” - Proverbs 27:17
Cornerstone Men’s Ministry is actively engaged in sharpening and shaping courageous and prayerful men of God who exhibit bold acts of faith, are nourished in fellowship, are engaged in multiplying discipleship, and live out their God-given roles as men.
“Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong. Let all that you do be done in love.” 1 Corinthians 16:13-14
We are watchful, ensuring that we live our lives so that they may be worthy of imitation by our brothers in Christ as we imitate our Lord, Jesus Christ.
We stand firm in the faith and in the Word of God as the guiding light in our lives.
We act like men who understand their God-given roles as spiritual leaders in their families and in their communities.
We ensure that all that we do be done in love toward our brothers and in demonstrating God’s great love for all by boldly proclaiming the message of the gospel.

MINISTRIES
Cornerstone Men’s Ministry is excited to announce the launch of Dad’s Inc. This new ministry is a place for expectant dads and dads with children up to high school age to fellowship, grow, and encourage one another as the spiritual leaders of their families who train up their children in the way they should go.
Growing as a disciple who makes disciples is not only the Great Commission given to each of us by Jesus but it is the core mission of Cornerstone Men’s Ministry. Iron Sharpens Iron (ISI) small group, life-on-life, discipleship groups meet regularly at their own convenience and at a location chosen by the group to mature in Christ together as they each answer four important questions about their lives. Each session ends with the most important of the four questions, “How can I pray for you right now?” Men who have an interest in joining an ISI will be invited to attend one of the ISI training meetings that occur throughout the year and groups will be formed from those in attendance.
Help share God’s love for those in need by coming together with other brothers in Christ while serving a meal to those who reside at the Long Beach Rescue Mission on the fourth Tuesday of each month from 5-6:30 p.m.
In keeping with James 1:27, this group of men meet on the third Saturday of each month at 7 a.m. near the “fireless fireplace” at Cornerstone to pray together and receive an encouraging message before forming into small teams that visit widows and single mothers and help to repair or maintain their homes. This is also a unique opportunity for younger men to learn home repair skills through the mentoring of a brother in Christ.
Cornerstone Men’s Ministry is launching “A New Season of Hope.”
This ministry will be focused on creating a place for fellowship, encouragement, and refreshment for the widowers in our church family as they stand together in God’s promise found in Jeremiah 31:25 - “For I will satisfy the weary soul, and every languishing soul I will replenish.”
Meetings will be held on the fourth Tuesday of each month, from 3:30-5:30 p.m. in MP2.

These men of God begin each work week with a time of prayer while encouraging fellowship with brothers in Christ. This group meets every Monday at Cornerstone near the “fireless fireplace” at 7 a.m. to give thanks, intercede for others and to lift each other’s prayers to God.
“All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.” 2 Timothy 3:16-17. Each Thursday night this group of men meets to progressively walk together through an entire book of the Bible. Each study is focused on gaining a clear understanding of God’s Word and on the important role of finding applications for how we can live out God’s Word in our lives. This group meets at 7 p.m. in classroom “B” and also via Zoom for those who may be unable to attend in person. In-person attendance is encouraged.
Currently on break. Will resume on February 15.
This group meets on Wednesday morning at 7 a.m. at Cornerstone near the “fireless fireplace” to be led in a time of collective prayer with a brief devotional. After spending time in prayer, this group then moves into the multi-purpose room to receive an encouraging message built upon God’s Word and His wisdom and to hear what God is doing in our lives and in our world. Coffee and donuts are also provided. This is an excellent opportunity for men to grow in their spiritual maturity and experience how other men pray openly and honestly in front of other men.
