About the Class:
We are excited to announce a new class called Foundations of Our Faith. This class welcomes new believers and all levels of faith to participate in a six-class series study in learning foundational biblical truths. Class begins Sunday, April 7th at 11:00 AM located in Classroom A.
Meet Your Facilitator: Shawn James
Shawn confessed Christ Jesus as Lord and Savior in 1977 and has been living for him ever since. Shawn loves the Lord and His word with all his heart, mind, soul, and strength. Shawn came to Cornerstone Church a little over 5 years ago. He was drawn by the teaching and equipping of believers, and the mission of Cornerstone Church. Because of his love for discipling the men and women of God and the lost, he was involved with the disciple training ministry “Brother to Brother.” He is currently involved with 4M Groups where men come together to strengthen and build each other up in faith.
Shawn has over 40 years of experience in ministry from leadership, teaching, lay counseling, and mentoring young men from a biblical perspective who are struggling with life issues and who have been plagued with hurts, habits, and hangups and need freedom.
Shawn has been married to his lovely wife, Mildred, for 43 years and they have three adult children, seven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Shawn loves riding his motorcycle, cooking, playing his saxophone, and enjoying time with his family.
