DAD’s INC

Cornerstone Men’s Ministry is excited to welcome you to DAD’s INC. For expectant dads and dads with children up to high school age to fellowship, grow, and encourage one another as the spiritual leader of their family.

Adult Discipleship

Growing as a disciple who makes disciples is not only Jesus’ Great Commission but also the core mission of Cornerstone Adult Ministries. Men’s discipleship micro-groups (up to four men per group) meet regularly to be led by a Disciple Maker to take their next steps toward Christlikeness.

Serving at the Long Beach Rescue Mission

Fourth Tuesday monthly, 5–6:30 p.m. — help share God’s love for those in need by coming together with other brothers in Christ while serving a meal to those who reside at the Long Beach Rescue Mission.

New Commandment

Third Saturday monthly, 7 a.m. — in keeping with James 1:27, this group of men meet near the “fireless fireplace” at Cornerstone to pray together and receive an encouraging message before forming into small teams that visit widows and single mothers.

Teams help repair or maintain homes — also a unique opportunity for younger men to learn home repair skills through the mentoring of a brother in Christ.

A New Season of Hope

Fourth Tuesday monthly, 3:30–5:30 p.m., MP2 — a place for fellowship, encouragement, and refreshment for the widowers in our church family, standing together in God’s promise found in Jeremiah 31:25 — “For I will satisfy the weary soul, and every languishing soul I will replenish.”

Monday Morning Prayer

Every Monday, 7 a.m. — these men of God begin each work week with a time of prayer while encouraging fellowship with brothers in Christ, meeting near the “fireless fireplace” to give thanks, intercede for others, and lift each other’s prayers to God.

Thursday Night Men’s Bible Study

Thursdays, 7 p.m., Classroom B — each week this group progressively walks together through an entire book of the Bible. Current study: Book of Matthew. Bring a Bible.

Every Wednesday, 7 a.m. — a time of collective prayer and a brief devotional, followed by an encouraging message built upon God’s Word.
