Cornerstone Church Protocol for
Safe and Joyful Worship

Updated January 2022

We have been gathering for Indoor worship since February 2021. It is our intent that we maintain a “worship for all” philosophy, but with the safety of our Cornerstone family clearly in mind. With these values in place, the Board of Elders has adopted the following COVID-driven safety protocol to guide our Church toward a safe indoor environment.

Facemasks:

All adults and children on Cornerstone’s property are not required to wear a mask at any time. The use of facemasks is recommended as outlined by the state of California but is not required in our services or meeting venues.

Entrances/Exits:

-Tables with hand sanitizer and disposable face masks are set up and available for use at all entrances.
-The East Door (into MP 2/3) has been specifically designated for entrance into Multipurpose room 2/3 for our Shepherd’s Flock Class at 9am on Sundays.
-Greeters are positioned at entry doors to welcome attendees to worship and assist with directions.

Social Distancing:

We are no longer social distancing for worship center seating, classrooms, lines, etc. We do still encourage everyone to be mindful and respectful of those around them and work to create space when possible or requested by others.

Signage:

All necessary signs will be posted in adherence to current governmental guidelines regarding COVID protocol, designed to help direct attendees to worship venues and Sunday School Classes.

Written Protocol:

This protocol will be made available to those requesting it.
