Beverly Hardy
Circle of Friends Leader

After many years of working together daily as missionaries to Mexico, then returning back to Southern California in 2005 to be near our two sons, Jason and Aaron and their young families, we visited Cornerstone Church in 2007. By 2008 we knew Cornerstone was home. Life changed suddenly when Vince lost a courageous but short battle with cancer in August that year.

So as a widow myself since 2008, and a leader at the inception of Circle of Friends Widows Ministry in 2012, I fully understand the life shattering event of losing a spouse, of going from “wife” to “widow” in a split second, and in that one moment in time everything in life changes drastically forever. As widows, finding our solid ground again is a journey of transformation to wholeness, only made possible by God and loving support by those around us.

In answering God’s call to ministry once again, I am excited to lead this group of women and gently guide them from tragedy to triumph, from simply surviving to thriving, while in an environment of happy acceptance, love, support, encouragement, and fellowship. My passion is to walk alongside the new widow to inspire and bring hope in finding her sure footing on her new path forward to adventures with God in the days ahead, while surrounding her in an abundance of loving friendships with those on the same journey.

“Show me the path where I should go O Lord, point out the right road for me to walk.” Ps.25:4
