ABOUT THE SERIES

By Dr. Jerry Reub

The book of 1 John was written by John the beloved apostle to Christians whose faiths were being challenged by false teachers. Today in the 21st century, Christians are once again being hammered by the strong winds of false teaching and competing ideologies. The small but powerful letter of 1 John boldly declares the basics of what it means to be a Christian and how to remain personally connected to God through His Son Jesus Christ. Tucked inside John’s general letter to first-century believers are practical lessons on how our eternal relationship with Jesus Christ endures all attacks and breathes confidence into our everyday lives.
