Hello Cornerstone family,
I’m so excited to help organize and coordinate this year’s Women’s Retreat at the beautiful Forest Home Retreat Center.
A little bit about me…
My husband, John and I have been attending Cornerstone Church for about 18 years. God has blessed us with a beautiful, growing family. Our oldest daughter, Karina is married to Paul and they have a 2 children-Kaia, 2 and Luke John, 6 months. Our youngest daughter, Jenna is married to Mitch and they also have a 6 month old baby they named Rylee Jade!
John and I have had a construction equipment and materials business for 28 years, where Karina, Jenna and Mitch are employed.
I committed my life to Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior, as a college student and I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in nursing and spent 10 years as an RN. But I have always had a passion for decorating, organizing and planning events.
Over the years, I’ve planned many events for family, friends, and clients at various venues. About 13 years ago I started a side business I call ME Designs.
Currently I’m on “GramMe” duty. I watch Kaia two days a week and soon the two other grandchildren will be under my watch. Help! :)
On the other days, I try to enjoy reading, journaling, crafting, sewing, trailer camping, gardening and spending time with family and friends.
Also, I delight in being mentored by a wise, God loving, Christian woman from Cornerstone on a regular basis. I am richly blessed by her spiritual guidance, her godly example of faithfulness, grace, love, prayer, and true friendship. I prayed for someone like her for 10 years!
I consider it an honor and a privilege to be used by our Lord to enrich the lives of other women at Cornerstone while working as the retreat coordinator. I look forward to working with other women as we plan our 2023 Women’s retreat.
